I’m Kirsten Bolton, a wedding and vow renewal celebrant creating warm, witty and completely bespoke ceremonies across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and beyond.
No identikit scripts. No going through the motions. I get to know the real story - the brilliant bits, the ridiculous bits and all those tiny details that make your relationship yours - then turn it into a ceremony your guests will still be talking about long after the confetti has disappeared.
And there’s another advantage to having a Lovebird in your corner.
I bring more than 30 years of event experience with me. So, if you’ve organised your own wedding but want someone capable, calm and ridiculously organised making sure it actually runs to plan, I can stay on as your Master of Ceremonies and On-the-Day Organiser too.

What to expect
When you choose me as your celebrant, you're getting someone who genuinely cares about making your day flow effortlessly while capturing the essence of who you are as a couple. I'll weave your unique story into a ceremony that feels authentically you – complete with those little moments of warmth and maybe an unexpected smile or two that your guests will be talking about long after the confetti settles.

I like to think that my creativity, wit and confidence shine through in everything I do. I started my working life as a holiday rep in the Mediterranean, from which I returned with a treasure trove of stories and a knack for captivating audiences. That was over 30 years ago (eek!).
Since then, I’ve been in marketing, using my creativity and writing skills to engage people the world over. People say that I’m beyond organised and have a natural confidence and ability to put people at ease. I’ve organised hundreds of events from just a handful of people to massive exhibitions. I love a clipboard and lists!
I also love public speaking. My first speaking gig was as a narrator at the school play, aged 7. I have spoken at many kinds of events and also been a voiceover artist on TV adverts.
It’s these skills combined that make me your ideal celebrant and more! I live in a little village called South Anston, near Worksop and close to the M1 J31, which makes me ideally located to go anywhere I’m needed. I’m also fully qualified and insured to give you peace of mind.
